Welcome to Sharon's Tarot

I was around eight or nine years old when my grandmother gave me a gift pack containing a tarot deck, a book of card meanings, and a few basic spreads.
I was instantly fascinated.
As I got older, I realised it was more than curiosity. I had a real connection with the cards — and with the people I read for. Friends and family started commenting on how accurate the readings
turned out to be. I read for anyone who asked, always for free, always because I loved it.
It was only recently — after carrying out readings for colleagues at work — that people started encouraging me to take it further. "You should be doing this properly," they said. So here I am.
I've always been interested in design and website building too, so building this site felt like the natural next step: bringing together two things I genuinely love.
What I believe about readings
Most people come to me at turning points — the start of a new year, a decision they can't quite make, a situation they can't quite see clearly. They're not looking to be told what will happen. They're looking for a way through.
That's what I try to offer.
I work with all kinds of cards — including the ones that look frightening at first glance. The Tower. The Death card. I won't pretend they're not there. But I'll always help you understand what they're actually saying, which is rarely what you fear. My job is to make sure you leave a reading feeling guided,
not unsettled.
Because ultimately, the cards don't decide your future. You do.
Sharon's Tarot Soundtracks
One more thing I'm working on — and I'm genuinely excited about this one.
I've always believed that a song can capture a feeling more instantly than any explanation. You hear eight bars and you just know. I feel the same way about tarot — but sometimes the card images and my written interpretations still don't quite bridge the gap.
So I've been building Sharon's Tarot Soundtracks: a way of pairing each card with music that captures its essence. It's my current project and something I think is genuinely new in the tarot world. If you're someone who understands the world through music as much as words, this one's for you.
My approach
Tarot can be many things — prediction, entertainment, esoteric teaching — but here, it is a mirror for understanding and choice.
I read the cards as a conversation. Not just card by card, but through the way they sit together, the energy they create and the message that starts to form between them.
If you are seeking space to think things through, understand yourself better or explore possibilities with care and clarity, a reflective reading may suit you.
I read tarot with a focus on:
-
Insight over prediction
-
Guidance rather than instruction
-
Reflection, not judgement
-
Personal responsibility and free will
Why a reflective approach matters
Reflective tarot places you at the centre of the reading. Rather than focusing on fixed outcomes, it supports self-awareness, personal responsibility and informed choice — helping you feel empowered rather than dependent on the cards.
This means a reading is not about being told what to do. It is about looking at the situation with honesty, compassion and perspective, so you can better understand what may be influencing you, what choices are available and what your own intuition may already be trying to tell you.
Why people choose a reflective tarot approach
-
It supports insight rather than dependency
-
It respects free will and personal responsibility
-
It’s suited to real-life decisions, emotions, and growth
-
It creates space for clarity, not fear or prediction

Experience & style
I have been working with tarot for 30 years, combining traditional symbolism with intuitive interpretation. My readings are designed to support thoughtful reflection and encourage empowered decision-making.
My style is calm, clear and considered. I focus on plain language rather than unnecessary mysticism, ensuring every reading feels grounded, respectful and easy to understand.
Whether you are new to tarot or have sought guidance before, I aim to help you explore your questions with care and clarity. My readings are not about dramatic claims or absolute statements. They are about thoughtful insight, emotional honesty and guidance you can reflect on in real life.

How I read the cards
When I sit with the cards, I am not only looking at their traditional meanings. I am also listening for the atmosphere of the reading — the feeling behind the question, the repeating themes, the quiet truth underneath the surface and the way the cards seem to speak to one another.
Some readings feel soft and restorative. Some feel challenging but necessary. Others feel like the moment before a new path opens.
That is why Sharon’s Tarot is built around reflection, not fear. The cards may highlight something you already sense, something you have been avoiding, or something you are ready to understand differently. My role is to help interpret that message with care, clarity and honesty.
Because sometimes guidance does not arrive as a loud answer. Sometimes it comes quietly, through a feeling you recognise before you can explain it — like a line in a song, or the moment the cards finally give voice to something you already knew but had not yet found the words for.

Based in the UK
Based in Surrey and working with clients across the UK, I offer reflective tarot readings designed to bring insight, calm and thoughtful perspective.
You will not find dramatic claims, fear-based interpretations, absolute predictions or pressure to return for further readings. My goal is to offer insight that feels supportive, grounded and respectful of your own intuition and life experience.
Tarot is a conversation — not a verdict.
If you are looking for a tarot reader in the UK who offers thoughtful, reflective guidance rather than prediction, you are very welcome here.
