What is Tarot?
Understand before you begin
Before you learn a single card meaning, it helps to understand what tarot actually is — and just as importantly, what it isn't. There's a lot of noise out there, and some of it can make tarot feel more mysterious or more scary than it needs to be.
I always say: getting this foundation right makes everything else click faster.

Meet the Cards
Learn the structure, then the personalities
78 cards sounds like a lot. And honestly, it is — but tarot has a logic to it, and once you see the structure, the cards start to make sense as a whole rather than 78 separate things to memorise.
This section introduces you to the Major and Minor Arcana and helps you start recognising the cards as characters rather than definitions to learn by rote.

One of the biggest myths about tarot is that you need to memorise every card meaning before you can do anything with it. You don't.
