Everything here is free to explore — take what you need.

I've been reading tarot for over 30 years, and the question I'm asked most often is: where do I even start? This section is my answer to that. Whether you want to understand the cards, try a spread for yourself, or go deeper into interpretation, you'll find it here.

If you're completely new, I'd suggest starting with the Card Library. If you already know the basics and want to go further, the Deep Dive Library is where things get interesting.

Card Library

All 78 tarot cards, explained.

Each card page covers the meaning, symbolism, and how it tends to show up in real readings. You can browse all cards, or filter by Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, or suit. A good place to start if you've pulled a card and want to know more about it.

Deck Library

Thinking about buying a deck — or curious about the one you have?

The Deck Library covers a range of tarot decks, looking at artwork style, symbolism, and what kind of reader each deck tends to suit. Useful if you're choosing your first deck or want to understand the one you already own.

Deep Dive Library

Ready to go further?

The Deep Dive Library takes individual cards and themes and explores them in more depth — looking at symbolism, context, how cards shift meaning depending on what surrounds them. This is where tarot stops feeling like memorisation and starts feeling like a language.

Tarot Spreads

Put it into practice.

Spreads are the layouts you use when you lay cards out for a reading. The spreads here range from simple one-card pulls to more structured multi-card layouts. Each one comes with guidance on how to use it and what to look for.

Learning Articles

Explore the wider world of tarot

Longer reads on the history, people, decks and techniques behind tarot. Written to help you understand the wider world of tarot, not just the individual cards.

Glossary

Not sure what a term means?

The Glossary covers the language of tarot — from the basics (Major Arcana, reversals, significators) to the more specific. Filter by beginner-friendly terms if you're just getting started.

Not ready to explore on your own yet?

That's completely fine. A personal reading can be a good way to get a feel for tarot before you start learning the cards yourself — you'll see how the cards come together in a real reading, which makes the learning feel more alive.
