I feel the same way about tarot.
The card images and my written explanations don't always bridge the gap on their own. So I've been building something to help — pairing each card and theme with music that makes the meaning feel real, not just readable.
This is Sharon's Tarot Soundtracks. It's my current project and something I haven't seen done quite like this anywhere else.
How I Hear the Cards
I've been listening to music my whole life the same way I read tarot — searching for the feeling underneath the surface.
When I sit with a card, I'm not just looking at its traditional meaning. I'm looking for its emotional truth. The atmosphere it carries. The thing it's trying to say that doesn't quite fit into a keyword.
And sometimes a song finds it before I do.
That's where Soundtracks started — not as a feature or a product idea, but as something I was already doing quietly for myself. Hearing a piece of music and thinking: that's The Moon. That's exactly what it feels like to not quite trust what you're seeing.
I've been building this library to share that experience. If you've ever felt a song before you understood it, you'll know what I mean.
What Are Tarot Soundtracks?
Sharon’s Tarot Soundtracks are curated playlists created around tarot cards, themes, series and reading moods. Each playlist is designed to help you feel the card or theme through music before you try to explain it with keywords.
Some playlists focus on individual cards. Some explore bigger tarot journeys. Others help you sit with a feeling, question or emotional pattern.
Why Music?
A lyric can land somewhere an explanation never reaches. A chord change can carry the feeling of a card in a way that keywords simply can't.
If you've ever understood something better through music than through words, you'll understand exactly what these playlists are for.
They're not about predicting the future. They're about recognition — that moment when something clicks and you think: yes, that's it. That's exactly what this card means for me right now.
How to Use the Soundtracks
Choose a playlist by card, theme, mood or series. Listen slowly, notice what feels familiar and use the songs as reflection points.
You can use the playlists before a reading, after a reading, alongside journalling, while learning tarot card meanings or when a particular card keeps appearing for you.
