How I Use Tarot
This page explains how tarot is used within my readings — how the cards function as a reflective framework, and the boundaries within which they are interpreted.
Tarot, for me, is a reflective and interpretive tool. I don’t use the cards to predict fixed outcomes or tell you what will happen. Instead, I work with tarot as a way to explore patterns, influences, emotional themes, and choices — offering insight rather than certainty.
This approach keeps the focus on you: your experiences, your perspective, and your ability to make informed decisions.

What tarot can help with
People often come to tarot seeking clarity around meaningful areas of life. In my practice, readings can support:
-
Making sense of something that's been sitting with you but you haven't been able to put into words
-
Looking at a situation from a different angle when you feel stuck or unclear
-
Noticing patterns in your life — emotional, relational or circumstantial — that may be worth paying attention to
Tarot works best when approached with openness and curiosity rather than expectation of a fixed answer.
What tarot is not (and why this matters)
Tarot isn’t a substitute for professional advice in areas like legal, medical or financial decisions — it’s a reflective tool that supports perspective and self-awareness.
Tarot is not used here as an authority or decision-maker, but as a structured reflective tool.
I do not use tarot to:
-
predict guaranteed outcomes
-
provide legal, medical, or financial advice
-
diagnose health conditions
-
replace professional guidance
-
read on matters involving harm, manipulation, or control
Tarot readings offered through Sharon’s Tarot are for guidance and insight only.
Ethical boundaries
A few things worth being clear about:
-
Tarot is a reflective tool, not a decision-maker. I can help you see things more clearly — but the decisions are always yours.
-
Readings are not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or financial guidance. They are not a substitute for professional support.
-
I read tarot to support awareness and insight. What you do with that insight is entirely up to you.
