Upright Card
An upright card is drawn the right way up and reflects the card’s natural or most direct energy.
When a tarot card appears upright, it usually represents the clearest expression of that card’s meaning. This can include opportunities, challenges, emotions, or advice that is actively present or ready to be addressed.
Upright cards are not always positive or easy — they simply show energy that is open, visible, or unfolding in a straightforward way. The message may still require effort, awareness, or change.
In readings, upright cards often describe what is happening now or what is being asked of you at this moment.
